Ok I was playing no limit but i read that howard ledderer said limit was his favorite game and it seems beatable at more $ per hour than no limit. I decided to give it a try. I'm just wondering what the proper bankroll strategy for how many bets you should carry. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you want around 300 big bets in your bankroll to play limit. At least that seems to be the general number people suggest.

I started with limit before switching to NL. I think it's easier to maximize your efficiency playing limit than NL simply because there's only three choices every time you must act. Kind of like digital(limit) vs analog(nl). However, at the same time it is harder for people to give you their money really fast in limit (and, as some people seem quite determined to do this, I like to sit around in NL lately.)

Hope the limit games treat you well! Smile

Ok seems like people say they can make ten big blinds per 100 hands at no limit but with a three hundred dollar bankroll you'd have to play $15 dollar no limit so you could make 1.5 per hundred hands but playing limit you could make maybee 2 BB at least per 100 hands at those levels and earn then 2$ per 100 hands just seems like it's good to start out in cause you don't need to big of bankroll.

You can make similar money on the same bankroll at either game.

Maybe you can. But limited poker is safer, more straightforward, easyer for beginnig. NL is more interesting, because limited gets booooring.

I thing this is more important, while the calculation over there dosn't count the growing bankroll and the better players on the upper limits
