I am not an Aggressive player, although at times i try it. But one thing i do which boggles my mind is that ill push my stack when i should either just raise or call. Example (happend 2x yesterday)
I was playing in a tourney started with 300 players, paying top 27. we were at 32 when i got dealt A10. player in LP raised he was big stacked had me by 5k or so, i was 10th in chips. Few min earlier i reminded my self top 27 , I called from the BB. He had been raising alot and i felt he was bullying alot. Flop came AA4, w/ 2 spades, i bet out pot size, he reraised, before i could stop i pushed AI, and was knocked out with AQ.
I also did it in a ring game with QQ vs AA. My question is What do you do from reacting and just pushing. Or is this just a unique problem to me? |

I think a re-raise preflop is the best option, since you believe you have him beat preflop. Sounds like his range will seldom 4bet, so if he does - you can confidently lay down your AT. Against most other stacks at the table, I'm calling preflop in that situation. I find I'd rather make it a preflop game against the bigger stacks and a postflop game against everyone else.
In regards to your QQ vs AA hand: Don't let it get to you. QQ is a very good hand, even in a cash game. I've folded QQ many times preflop but it was always based on a solid read. So trust your read/instincts. Too often, I hear players say: "I knew he had AA or KK, but I just couldn't fold QQ." Here's an idea: fucking fold it for a change. You'll be happy you did. |

| Fold AT preflop, no reason to go broke with that hand so close to the money. |
