Hey folks - regular casino low-limit hold 'em player, typically 3-6 or 4-8. Play in Atlantic City or Foxwoods a fair amount, but heading to Vegas this summer.
What hotels do you guys prefer to play at? I've always done well at Bally's for some reason, but it's a small poker area right on the casino floor. Caesar's is a beautiful room but fewer fish there than I'd prefer. Any other suggestions? Looking for a room where you can get in a 3-6 or 4-8 pretty quickly, with lots of soft players betting mid pair all the way. You know, the usual.
Also, anyone know of any structured limit (NOT NL) tournaments in Vegas? Hard to find 'em, if there are any.
Good luck at the tables, kids. |

| ballys is awesome precisely because it is on the casino floor, where it pulls in dumb BJ players who don't know a straight from a flush. Mandalay Bay used to have a good rep for a super soft 4/8 game... but that was a couple years ago. read allvegaspoker.com for the most current reviews. |

| Yeah, I guess I never thought about it that way - that the poker area at Bally's would bring in the non-poker players. But I'm a decent limit player - far from professional - and have always cleaned up at the Bally's 3-6 game. Will be back to Vegas in August so looking forward to trying again. |

| I like MGM for limit and you should have plenty of game selection at 4-8. |
