villain's first orbit, had seen them bet flop, check turn, check call river and show down second pair - but nothing else. I've been aggro and active.

i don't like calling here. i think villain's range is AQ/22-JJ. Of this range, AQ/JJ/TT/99 and sets are probably calling. i'm trying to rep AK. Recently I've been working on looking bluffy cos people seem to sniff out value-bets more than i like...

spew? or?

why is it probable that 99-JJ are calling a shove?

My standard line here is to call and either check the turn and not fold or donk into him.

Sounds like a game flow thing and if you think a worse hand calls, bombs away!

Also, don't get too caught up in your "image", because particuarly online people tend to get caught up in their own little world. I don't hate a fold to the flop raise here either.

looks ok, I give far less credit for a set if it's a complete unknown. Fnord's line is probs better though, this would be better on a more coordinated board so you could rep a FD etc.

if our opponent sucks then we stack off, if he doesnt then we probably have to find a fold on flop or turn IMO.
at 50nl i wouldnt be too bothered about my own image but how badly our opponent plays his hands

daven, i think you are being results oriented saying that 99-JJ are prob calling cuz they won't call most of the time.

I think you're right. Re-examining the hand, I was expecting AQ but a fold is probably a better play on that flop re-raise
thanks

I really dont think he calls with JJ-99 after your shove, unless hes a moron or your image is so ridiculously bad that fkkk it would have to be awful and this is FR, we dont have that kinda image ever lol.

After you shove meh you fold out so many hands that call you. QJ, KQ.

Really by shoving your getting called by AQ and a set and if your villain has downz KQ and JJ
