...wid all us fullring nooobs
this hand was recently brought to my attention, and i realized that i could not provide much insight into the strategy it attempts to employ. so i come to you.
hero is probably tag, he can come here and say exactly or otherwise if thats not true. villain is aggressive 13/10 who fires at a lot of pots, double barrels, etc. also he's from norway so he's insane
partly id like to know what you think about pf. i think its a little too fringe to get value out of a call, but i dunno exactly. mainly, id like to know about the ideas we need to employ when we decide to float with this type of hand, or if we should at all; or how the board matters. its obvious that we cannot just float flop since villain doubles frequently, and so then we can either plan to raise turn or float turn and fire river. im unsure as to what we need to look for when looking to rebluff this guy who is likely to double barrel bluff us or whatever. i personally do not like this float because the only flop equity is backdoor, but i really have no clue what to look for. so even though this sucks in isolation there could be a ton of turns that make this great. i simply just dont know what turns those would be, or pretty much anything about this kind of strategy.
im probably not even asking the right questions. so i'll say that this simply is a post looking for theoretical analysis, not just on this specific HH, but on these types of scenarios in general

Okay, so sorry for being a full ring newb, im not exactly sure how tight people raise in MP1 if your a 13/10, but I assume it's pretty fucking tight. 22+/AJ/KQ? Even that loose? 66+, AQ+?
Well whatever it is, flop is horrendous without a super specific read. For your reasons as well as the fact if opps range is AQ+, 66+, we'd be much better off raising to get him to fold. Also,OPPS preflop range ISNT WEAK. You don't play back at non weak ranges, its counter intuitive.
Preflop may be meh but i dont think it's worth much discussion |

You don't rebluff the guy. Unless someone's double barrelling too much, you don't do shit. If someone's double barrelling a lot you start flatting more sets and AK/KQ hands on the flop and also start flatting AA/KK some small amount preflop. Also, I kind of doubt you are going to get two barrelled a lot if the guys preflop range is 22+, AJ+, KQ, cuz he'd only two barrel with AJ and AQ. |

Calling is perfectly fine preflop. Reraising a late position opener in position is also OK.
My standard for continuing on flops is that I need at least a gutshot. Depending on the opponent/image/mood I raise a gutshot and backdoor draw. Low flush draws I 70% call 30% raise. I'll try and dig some hands out of my database for examples but there are tons of scenarios.
As for this flop, You have a couple backdoor draws but I would prefer more equity to continue. If the flop were 2s5c9s I would raise 75% call 25%. |

just raise flop, you don't have enough good turns to make calling better.
edit: i mean that raising is better than calling. folding might be better than raising, so i definitely wouldn't raise 100%. |

| and this isn't a super ideal place to call pre. I definitely wouldn't do it every time. I' d probably call/3bet/fold about 15/15/70 |
