i'd argue that the spurs were clearly the best team last year, and probably the second best team this year. you should be happy. they aren't going to get better over the next several years. |

| Meanwhile on channel 20 in Houston the Rockets put an ass whooping on the Jazz. Against all the child molesting polygamists and the officials. |

All we need is an athletic swing-man, like that Smith cat from Denver and we're good to go. Unfortunately I'm sure he's a thug, and we made that mistake on Derek Anderson years ago, so whatever. |

| Amare would be nice too, but he'd have to learn to play defense. |

see that's what's funny to me, there's defense and then theirs team-defense.
I was so mad when Camby won DPOY last year b/c he had a lot of blocks and rebounds. SURE, when all yo do is roam the paint and your PG/SG are constantly getting burned you're going to get a lot of blocks. When your 3 and 4 won't rebound, sure, you're going to dominate the boards. AI always leads the league in steals, doesn't make him a good defender b/c for every steal he gets he gets burned twice as much, leaving the rest of his team hanging out to dry.
Amare has gotten a lot better, TD used to dominate him on the block and he doesn't anymore. However, he cannot do it alone. Steve Nash is a HORRID defender, which is why I always hated him winning the MVP, because if you want to win you have to do it on both sides of the ball.
If I had to list hte best players in the league at their positions based on offense AND defense
Timmy
KG
Artest
Kobe
Billups
All NBA-offensively bad at defense team
Lebron (seriously how does someone with his size not dominate)
Melo
AI
Nash
Dirk |

Tonight's predictions:
Cavs wrap up the series with a close win at home. 88-83.
Boston with a clear and convincing win against the Hawks. 106-92 |

Kirilenko for one, he's done quite a good job on McGrady and his length will/might/could trouble Kobe.
No one's going to guard Gasol, Okur's a 7 foot SG, so ya got me there. I'm just saying it won't be a sweep. |

i think this series could quite easily go to 7, because utah is so good at home. |
