Didn't know what to do with this due to my stack size.. Higher I would std raise, lower I would push..

| Urgh. I think I push all-in. I don't like limping because unless we hit a set we're playing blind. Raise of 3-4BB seems ok, but if re-raised I'm all in. |

| Im a) folding this, 55 is not an ideal hand to push with or b) set farming....limp in and if you hit get your stack in, if you miss check/fold flop..I really dont think a push is a goood play here considering you only get 120 chips if nobody calls and if they do call your a 50/50 at best.... |

Yeah, I agree with this. Sometimes I may even push with 77 but I would fold 55. |

Hmm, I decided to run this through SNGPT and its more interesting than I thought.
This seems to be a real turning point for pushing ranges. Here are my default calling ranges (from really tight to really loose) and the ranges we'd push. This assumes both call equal ranges:
66+,AT+ - 33+,AKs,AQs,AJs,ATs,ATo+,A9s,A8s,A7s,A5s,KJo+,K9s+,QJo,Q9s+,J9s+,T9s
44+,A7+,KJ+ - 66+,ATo+,A9s+
22+,A2+,KT+,QJ - 55+,ATo+,A8s+
22+,A2+,K9+,KJo+,QT+,JT - 66+,A9o+,A8s+
Hard to say what range they'd call with here. A 12.5xBB push will normally be called fairly tightly, but then in this case its no more than 1/3 of the stack of either opp, so they may feel like gambling.
I suspect this is close enough that I probably fold, but my initial pushing range was a fair way off apparantly. |

I push as well. A standard raise isn't horrible though, especially if opponents have a tendency to call and then check/fold flops. Or if they have shown they will call pushes with a wide range preflop.
Limping for set value is ridiculous. In fact, calling for set value after the first two levels is rarely correct in SNG play. The stacks are just too shallow for it. |
