PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB (t2680)
UTG (t1935)
UTG+1 (t2110)
Hero (t2345)
MP2 (t1385)
CO (t710)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A, Q.
2 folds, Hero raises to t350, 4 folds, BB calls t250.

Flop: (t750) A, 2, T (2 players)
BB bets t500, Hero ????.

I don't know if this is a fist pump shove or not, probably a wa/wb spot.
Only hands I beat are worse aces, and how many do you think are playing like this?

Weird spot. Maybe your larger PF bet made him think you had a weaker hand like a mid PP or something. Could be pure bluff also. His line doesnt make sense if he knows what he's doing, unless of course if its a trap.

I think I push over though, mostly because I dont want to fold. I'd almost feel better if there was a more obvious draw out there though.

This is almost always AJ, A3-A9. I feel pretty good about getting it in here

FWIW, I folded and went on to win the thing anyway. I'll keep this in mind however, since you guys are saying it's +EV to shove.

Shoving creates a large amount of FE. But a min-raise clickback might get you more chips.

I think you're ahead here often enough to get all the chips in, and you want as many in the center as possible.

So I think a raise is in order.. I don't know about a shove. You're certainly calling when he re-shoves.

You are ahead most of the time, I think it is either a weaker A or hands like KQ/KJ
