Any suggestions on what to do with my Full Tilt Points? I only play single table SNG's, and haven't fared well in the few MTT's I've played. With the introduction of Tournament Points, I see that I have a few options:

1. Buy relatively overpriced merchandise from the Full Tilt store.

2. Use my FT points to enter single table SNG satellites. If I win, I can cash out the Tournament Points for cash. However, assuming I win those at a similar (or slightly higher) rate as my normal SNG's, any winnings will result in a lower hourly win rate--meaning I *lose* money by playing these instead of my normal SNG's.

3. Use my FT points to enter MTT's. Again, if I win, I can cash out the Tournament Points for cash. Like I said though, I'm not too proficient at MTT's, so this may be just a waste of time and points. Conversely one could also view it as giving me free practice at MTT's. Also, I rarely have the time to play a MTT, and do not see doing much of it in the future.

4. Any other options I'm missing?

Just don't buy the books from the Full Tilt store. Total rip off.

There are some 5000/6000 point satellite sng's. I'm not sure if you know about them, but they equal about 30 dollar entry fees. Not bad. I think they'd be worth playing timewise unless you play $200 sngs or higher.

Does using FTPs to buy into satellite SNG's affects your MGR and Rakeback?

I assume it does, but wasn't sure.

I know there are 5000 and 6000 FT point tourneys. But it appears that the prizes of those are such that, and my approximate win percentage, playing those will win me the same amount as playing the low FT point buy-in games. Therefore, I'd probably play the lower buy-in games in hopes that I could weather any bad streaks.

I have no idea how they affect Rakeback.

That wasn't the question! Yes if you buy things at the store count against your Rakeback. However other FTP Points usage such as entry fees into tournaments is another question entirely. I'll have to check it out and find out. Plus if you get medals or the freeroll in the Iron Man Tournaments can affect Rakeback too....

Actually, Iron Man medals don't necessarily affect RB. If you use the medals to buy FT points, then it will of course. Apparently you can buy a tournament token and using it will only affect RB if the tourney you enter has an overlay (like if you use a $26 token for a $24k guaranteed and <1000 players enter). I haven't tried it yet but that's what my RB provider and posts on 2p2 have said.

I never thought of using points directly for those SNG and tourney freerolls. Hopefully they don't count against RB; I've never heard anyone say either way, though.

You can check this forum pokerVIPrewards .com for reviews of some poker store items. Needs more people to post reviews of items they have received though.
