First raiser is 35/17/2 and no notes on caller.
Full Tilt 0.25/0.5 Hold'em (9 handed) Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
Preflop: Hero is Button with Q , A . UTG posts a blind of $0.25.
2 folds, MP2 raises, 1 fold, CO calls, HERO....
Now Im presented with this situation frequently, and it seems to be a big loser for me so I want to know if this could be a potential leak. In this scenerio im 3 betting almost 100% of the time, sometimes calling. Dependant on reads is 3betting not the preffered play with position and a semi-strong hand? |

You can't really call because that just gives BB (and to a lesser extent SB) good odds to join the party. Raising here is also correct because you are fairly likely to have the best hand, and you have position.
Most of the profit/loss happens postflop, so that's what I would be concentrating on if I were you. |

| Ok, I just kinda need a reasurrance from now and then to keep my confidence up, lol. I feel I have fairly decent preflop skills and Ill try to concentrate on posting some postflop hand histories for the next while |

| 3-ball it all day. Being in position is great. From the SB I would very rarely 3-bet in this spot. |

| SB and BB I doubt I would 3bet this. Late position I often would, depending on the raiser. Raise or fold though, with this hand. |

now to further the discussion to flop, lets say we are facing a LAG opponent in MP2. blinds fold and MP2 calls.
1)The flop comes Kxx rainbow, a pretty good c-betting flop and the LAG MP donks.......
2) Same flop but this time MP check raises or cbet
3)Same flop and MP calls our c-bet, what is our plan on the turn for another seemingly blank card? for another king? |
