Holiday weekend at realtives.
Beat: 16 hour round trip on little sleep with 2 yr old and 10 month old
Variance: Winter snowstorm advisory
Beat: Wife has a sinus infection by the time we get there
Beat: Kids don't sleep worth a crap while we're there
Beat: Wife develops intense pain in her stomach area half way home
Beat: 6 hours later it still hasn't gone away
Beat: Trip to the ER
Beat: Wife has stones in her gal bladder and requires surgery to remove gal bladder
Beat: Wife requires an additional procedure in the same day to remove a stone blocking liver
Beat: Wife alone in hospital to end and begin year.
Brag: All around awesome grandma who takes care of the kids while at ER/surgery
Variance: Wife will be on lifting restriction of 15 lbs...both kids weigh more than that. Daddy sole source of income, can get time off, but it's a family business and my job doesn't get done if I'm not there.
Beat: I miss my and wish I could be in two places at once. |

Beat: Spent £45 ($90) on a taxi home
Beat: Have to get train and walk ~2-3 miles now to retrieve car.
Beat: My parents hate me
Beat: Still drunk I think...
Beat: Failed to win the implied drinking contest.
Beat: Worst hangover ever
