| Enjoy it while it lasts Bob. Millen will find a way to fuck it up yet. |

Yeah that really doesn't make any sense b/c very few trades are made once the season starts. Millen gets criticized for his horrible personnel moves which all happen in the offseason. Once the regular season starts, Millen has very little contact with the team and the coaching staff. |

| Wow, touchy, touchy. It was a joke. Millen had his first good offseason/draft in his tenure and now you're sticking up for him? I just thought everyone hated him in DE-triot |

I do hate him but you have to give him a little credit here. Bringing in Mike Martz with all the talent at WR has really paid off. Also, the players have really responded to Rod Miranelli as head coach.
Also, people are overly hard on GMs during their first few years they have their job. It's just like in college football when a team gets a new head coach, for the first few years, he's stuck with whatever recruits the old coach got, so essentially, every new college coach plays with another coach's team for the first 2-3 years.
With that said, I think Millen is an awful GM but he has taken a step toward redeeming himself.
And I wasn't being touchy, it's just how football works, the GM puts the players and coaches on the field before the season and it's up to them during the season to execute. Millen either screwed up already before the season started in his personnel choices or finally got the right players on the field. |
