At what stakes (on FTP/stars) do you stop seeing complete morons (those who donk off 100bb's with TP/weak draws/etc.) on a regular basis? I remember seeing them quite regularly at $100nl right at the end of the pre-frist era. When do they go missing these days?

man I don't know. I've seen morons at every limit i've sat down at, up to 600nl... hence the important of table selection.

I've found personally on iPoker that the amount of total morons halves as you move up, so at 10NL 60%, 20NL 30%, 50NL 15%, etc..

Though the problem is by the time you've got to 100NL the moron fish often buy in for the minimum anyway.

Every session if you multi table for a few hours, sure. Obviously they become more seldom as the limits increase.

i see a big drop off at 25NL, but they are there. there just arent 2-3 on every 6max table like at 10NL.

i'm sure the higher you go, the harder they are to find. networks prolly make a difference, too. stars is definitely tighter than it used to be BF (before frist).

no offense, i know we have our differences, but could it be that those arent all bad beats? couldnt you have made money elsewhere in your sessions to cover those beats?

you had to move back down because.....(insert another excuse here)...

1ooNL last night. I raised JJ MP to $4, 2 callers, BB raises to $20, I call, SB calls. $64 to the flop = 942. SB open pushes $70, BB pushes over, I fold.
SB shows up with JT, BB shows KK. Here's the funny part, wait for it, wait for it:
The turn comes K
The river comes Q.
The fish hits rnr-rnr str8 for $200BB. He later claimed he was trying to push us off our hands, LOL. J-high trying to push a 3bettor & an original raiser that called a 3bet off there hands on an all under card flop. GMAFB. Fish morons are alive and well at 100NL.

lol nice try chopper. i know what is and isn't a bad beat. i also know what situations are unavoidable (like losing 50bb's to a 1/2 stack when they flop a set vs. your AA overpair). when those things happen a bunch of times in a row that is called a downswing. i had a downswing as soon as i moved up. i played well during the downswing. i didn't start chasing and i didn't start getting scared and passive and i didn't turn into an aggro-spew monster. it happened and i accepted it and moved back down to buff the roll back up.
