I've played Omaha sparingly for real money, but I thought I'd give it a shot as my main game. I'm not throwing too much money at it right now while I'm getting the hang of it.

My impression of the SB is that he is pretty loose/passive. He's trying to sneak into a lot of flops for cheap, and will draw post-flop. He's usually betting when he's got hands. Hadn't seen any sneaky plays from him to that point.

I can understand his call on the flop, but did he really have the odds to call me on the turn?

The turn all in isn't a bad play if the guy will often fold a flush draw (usually A or K high) or a weakish 2 pair. But at this level you will be getting called almost 100% of the time, so take a freebie and hope for a non-spade king Smile

I'm usually fairly content to put the pressure on someone with they're drawing to a flush-I just didn't sniff out that he also had the straight draw. Because he called my preflop raise I was putting him on some high cards-the flop raise indicated (to me, anyway), that he was drawing to the flush.

I was just putting him on the flush, which gave him even less outs-given the straight outs, I was still 2-1.

horrible turn shove, unless he's nitty mc nit from nit town. AA is shiite, and you f/d is shiite. He could have a set, 89, some wack 2 pair, and HUNDREDS of straight draws.. 3 other people saw this flop, you almost never have the best hand, and this is a horrible board to bluff.

Check behind on turn, see what the river brings, TP is rarely a winning hand in Omaha
