Hey,
Been playing a bit of Omaha Hi lately and always seem to get this situation to deal with.
I am delt 2 aces with a flush draw. I usually raise these but not always.
Flop with come with an Ace plus either two flush cards or 2 staight cards.
( flush not of my suits ).
with a semi coordinated flop I usually pot or at least 3/4 pot these flops.
Get one caller.
Turns brings a 3 flush or 3 straight card. Op then bets into me for the pot.
How often am I beat here? say at .05/.10 or .25 stakes.
Do opps usually show there hand face up like this or is this just a bluff. If hey made their hand are they afraid fo me checking behind and loosing me on the river if I don't fill up?
Is it worth chasing the boat?? assuming we are both pretty deep.
Lot of questions I know... thanks for your replies. |

Nearly always you will be behind in these spots. If the villain has an underset, you will be bet into or raised on the flop. If he has a straight draw, he won't be betting into you when the board shows a 3 flush.
If you're in position and the stacks are deep, usually this is a call. Although there are some opponents who will be nitty enough/read you correctly for a set and won't pay off any decent river bet when the board pairs. |
