I won about a $100 pot at Foxwoods on Saturday with this hand. I was open-ended on the flop of 5-6-x and called small ($5-$10) bets until the river, which was a 3. Then I bet $30 and was called by someone with top pair.
Is the official name "The Rippy" or "Testicular Fortitude", as I've seen on someone else's avatar?  |

| Man I had a good one a couple days ago on Empire but it would take me awhile to find it mixed in with all the other hands. Well I had it in the big blind and flopped bottom 2 pair while someone else had top pair and we got all in by the river and I took his whole stack. |

- Not very exciting, but I had to post it. For the record, I specifically called that raise to have something to post in this thread. It may be the only time I've ever played 74o for a raise. I was expecting a more exciting finish... lionel there had just a couple hands prior called a pre-flop re-raise with AQo, then called all in on the flop with no pair and a backdoor flush draw, queen-high. (He made his flush but lost to pocket kings... funny stuff.) I guess he was gunshy. |
