So I switched from LHE to NL FR 3 months ago and here are my stats for the first 50k hands ... yes, I'm a rock Sad

I think my big problems are playing the blinds and raising the limpers.
I often feel uncomfortable when
- I hit hands like TP no kicker in the BB or SB against several limpers
- I have hands like AQ, JJ or TT in the blinds vs. loose limpers
- CO - SB is raising my blind and I have a maginal hand like KQ, AJ, 77, J9s
- I have a hand like AJo, KJs, T9s, 99 im LP vs. several limpers

Mostly I take the passive way and Check/Fold/Call Rolling Eyes

Some advice?
How do limpers affect your raising standards when you are in LP and have a hand you'd like to play / would have openraised with?

well mainly raise more preflop. you could steal the blinds more 19% is pretty low.
as far as limpers just raise over them most of the time if you have a decent hand in late position.

i wouldnt classify you as a "rock," per se. you are a bit too aggressive post flop to be a rock by my standards. you are more Tight-Passive-Aggressive, to me. if i'm you, i dont change much...but i do steal more when folded to...just to buy some more action from those who only look at PT #'s.

and at low stakes, thats almost (in some cases more) as effective as TAG. TPA's give me a lot of trouble, and i tend to avoid confrontation when possible. however, i will get an entire stack when i hit a monster against one...and let him bleed himself off. Wink

anyway, when i have limpers in front of me...

i try to "hide" behind them, as much as possible!! suited conns, small pp's, gappers, etc. any marginal holding, and i will jump into a pot very quickly, looking for a huge flop.

hands i would open-raise with, like AJ, TT, AXs, i now limp behind, too. when you face 2 limpers oop, and you have AJo...its not so good anymore, to me. if the preflop betting stays at limping, i feel confident my AJ is top kicker, but i dont like raising and getting called by small pairs, etc.

with said limpers, my raising range tightens a bit. i stick to premiums AQ+, JJ+, maybe KQ/KJ, but not much more. kind of in between my open-raise range, and my RR range.

however, i will raise AJs+, and possibly KQs/KJs...on rare occasion QTs/QJs. those latter suggestions suck, and are only for the intent of "mixing it up." thats why i only raise the soooted hands in that range...i dont want to do it too often.

hope that helps.

people dont realize how much of a thinly veiled brag this is because they're so delusional about winrates.

Your tight but hey at least your not playing more hands and therefore more hands badly postflop like most 50nl regs,

Thanks for your posts, especially @ Chopper
I just think I am to predictable for the regulars. I take the donk's money and ship it to the regulars two hand later.
When I play ABC, I c-bet with AK and the reg min-checkraises me. When I want to get "tricky", I end bluffing my stack away with AQo vs. TT on a J-High Board.

I also don't like my W$WSF of 30% and WtSD of under 20% when I see the stats of other winning players.

ive read your W$WSF number should be around 30-35. so, you shouldnt be so disappointed.

and if you are aggro enough, your WtSD number wont be high, either...you wont be letting it get to the river. you dont want it over 35% thats for sure, thats where i consider you a call station, and start value-betting you until you raise me back...knowing you'll take your underpairs WAY too far.

just something to keep an eye on.

and if worried about predictability, do like Harrington says, and start calling when the clock gets to the last ten minutes of the hour... that way you are raising most of the time and calling a little...just to let them know you will trap them.

Play more aggressively preflop and on the flop.

On the flop with Top pair or better, be the aggressor. If someone bets infront of you, come ova tha fucking top. You gotta start posing more questions to your opponents. Questions like: Do you want to play in a big pot? Is your hand good enough to call this raise oop?

I play all big hands nearly the exact same way preflop wether I'm in the blinds or not. AQ or semi-big pocket pairs are great hands to be jacking the pot from sb or BB. Chances are, you have the best hand and will win the pot before the turn.
