Would you rather be a top poker pro, winning the WSOP and touring the world playing tourneys....
or a top sportsman, for example, playing upfront for West Ham Utd and England, winning the World Cup?

Sports: More money, more ass.
I'd probably be a baseball player because most money and most laid back.

West Ham? Dude you live like 200 yards from Craven Cottage
I'd be Grady Sizemore FTW. Baseball rules. Longest career, great exposure, can walk when you retire, most money, sleep in all day, can be almost as out of shape as golfers.

Maybe I'm a geek, but I think it'd be fun to golf for a living. It would suck to be someone who barely made cuts and could barely make a living, but if you can make it big, it sounds like a pretty good life to me.

sportsman, by far - all the pros live the life now, but think of how many years of grinding most of them had to endure - Not to mention the mental toll -

I chose sportsman for much of the same reasons as most others. If I was a sportsman, I'd have a better chance of doing this to Abla: (sorry my photoshoping is horrid.)
In all honesty I would choose poker player and by top players I mean one of the best. Chillin with Doyle, Ivey, Eli, Jen, Danny and Sammy in Bobby's Room everyday playing the 4k/8k game. Kicking it in there while people are outside bitching about a bat beat in the 1/2 game which wasn't even 1/10th of our Big Blind. Prop betting sick stuff like how old Johnny Chan's orange is and how many times Doyle's had his hip replaced. Then breaking the game at 11PM cuz it's bed time for the old folk and going to the Rhino where I would take body-lines off the strippers and take 4 of 'em back to my place.
Yea, sounds fun.

Drinking is by far and away the only reason I play anymore. That and teaching 50 lessons a week and looking at bad swings all day. You would think that b/c I get to play for free anywhere I would want to play I would be out there on my days' off but who actually wants to do what they do for a living on their days off.
Also: semi-brag: Just received my '08 Class A card. Big ups to my company for paying our ridiculously over-priced dues.

Kinda like Chip Reese.

In sports, yes you get ass, but the limelight is horrid. People would harass you, kidnap you, etc.

Just to confirm Biodino - yes i live 10mins from Fulham, but i ain't no Fulham fan!!!! My old mans from the East End so i got lumbered with the (not so) mighty Irons........
I went to watch Fulham v West Ham a while back and got threatened by a load of West Ham fans....took some convincing that while i lived down the road from Fulham i was a West Ham fan....my indepth knowledge of Sir Trevor Brooking proved invaluable.

Golfer by a longshot. Winning poker players still seem to lose a lot of money. That's got to be frustrating. Tiger Woods probably makes 60 million a year before picking up a golf club.
