I am looking into buying KEM cards online and i found a pretty good price (16 for 2 packs). Is this too cheap to be true?

I wasn't suspicous until i saw this picture of them: http://store1.yimg.com/I/chess4u_1830_7990457

They are super index but isnt the ace of spades supposed to be different, Or am I just being paranoid?

Only an innocent man would cry.

Maybe we don't have to crack him.

But you should post in the right forum. There's an area about Home games and poker gear or some such. It's down that-a-way. *points down*

as far as your question is concerned, about the cards, they are what is called "magnum" index. there are four types of index that Kem uses. the most popular are regular and super. regular is small numbers in two corners and super is large numbers in two corners. the lesser know indexes are 4-pip and magnum. 4-pips is just like regular, but with numbers in four corners as the name suggests. magnum is just like that ace shown in your link, on every card.

marnums are not the more popular cards, but if you like that style, or you are legally blind, go for it. kem cards are very hard to come by these days, especially the most popular (Arrow wide size reg index) due to a buy out by the united states playing card company, best known for Bee and Bicycle. word is that they have been producing more decks for consumers this month and they should be on the market as early as feb. there will not be as many styles, but they will produce the most popular cards, starting with Arrows.

my advice to you is to wait until those go on the market so that you can take your pick and get what you want. believe me, they are worth the wait and i have been watching to see when they start selling arrows again. i will post in "home games and gear" when they do. hope all this rambling helps.
