Just thought you Bonus whorers might be interested in this offer, i got it offered through fhmpoker.com which is another name for VCPoker, on the sites it says there is a 25% deposit Bonus but if you use the code cheerup1 you get 40%. I haven't tried this yet and i don't think FTR has a sign-up link for VC so i don't know if this post is even allowed but i don't mind if it gets deleted.

So, if my math is correct you have to accumulate 18750 ($150 Bonus x 125 action points/$1 of Bonus) action points to release the full Bonus of $150!?

You had better get like 100 action points per raked hand or this is just plain ridiculous.

Well, you'd need closer to 10 points a hand for a total of ~1870 hands, which is still a lot, if your playing less than 2/4 its really not worth it on these sites.

Points are awarded by the size of the rake, points are then divided up among all players that got cards; however, the winner of the hand gets the majority of points and the rest of the points go to those who contributed, if you fold preflop you might get 2-3 points on a decent pot. This is why you must be playing at least 2/4 to make it worthwhile.

It's an Action Poker skin, like Tiger Gaming. I had a free $20 at another skin. For a number of reasons, I lost it in about 10 minutes, but I have 76 action points for what thats worth. I think you get them fairly quickly.

Well i've played 0.05/0.10 NL the last couple of days, i've earned about $30 and accumulated 800 action points in about 5 hours so i imagine if you were playing at a higher level you could clear it pretty quickly, the good thing about it is you can clear the Bonus at low limits (albeit slowly) unlike at Stars where you have to be at a certain limit to clear a Bonus at all.

Also the quality of play is unreal! I 've been playing 0.05/0.10 on stars and found it acceptable but its totally different at VC, everybody is loose, some are passive, some are aggressive but everybody limps preflop and calls huge bets post flop, its great. I have to play a different style all together, basically seeing lots of flops cheap and waiting for great hands which are guaranteed to be paid off. I've found AA and KK hard to deal with because even a dollar raise preflop will get 4 callers so i have to generally raise 0.5 to fold a few, see the flop and go from there, i did get drawn out on a couple of times, hardly surprising with the loose play, but it is more fun that stars. Makes me wonder if party is like that.

VictorChandler? thats the same as goldenpalacepoker, Doyle Room, etc

I've played all the limits up to 2/4, and it is fairly easy to beat with solid play and patience, but the NL games are a different story, there are some VERY skilled players on that site.

Why, in the name of all that is simple and pain-free, can't these fucking poker sites just say, "You need X amount of raked hands before the Bonus is cleared."?

I hate points systems with every mother fucking fiber of my being.

they have a complicated system where people who win the hand/bet a lot of money get more points than someone who just folds out, seems reasonable enough to me, though i don't have the whoring experience of jm.
I'm trying to decide how much Bonus i can clear in a month at 0.05/0.10, i reckon 5000 AP's should be do-able so i reckon i'll deposit $100.
