stars $20 hu tournament...problems

so i've been winning consistantly at hu games for a while, finally decided to join the hu tournament that stars holds twice a day believe... won the first game, i believe i should have won the second also, but somewhere along the lines i lost the game. Trying to figure out where i went wrong, I had my opp. over 2-1 for most of the game, but couldn't finish it. I went over the hh and it seemed i played a little to cautious post flop, probably afraid to stab at it and not know what to do if he pushes because he needed a double up soon. eh, kinda figured there were no hu players around here...

Just a very general critique on your play... I didn't review every hand... just the first 30 or so.

I would consider opening up a little bit and raising. You're very straight forward, and opp is very tight, folding a lot of hands preflop, which is a mistake HU.

Raise him once in a while, man... raise.

I only see you raising big aces and pairs, one KQo... this is too tight heads up, me thinks.

I agree with fortune, you cant just raise your aces and broadway cards pf. Raise so he can never put you on a hand. Also postflop your playing to passively when he shows weakness. You didnt ever cbet after raising pf and missed the flop which i think is a leak. I guess just be alot more aggressive, most of the time he doesnt have anything either.
