Dude we need to plan a fishing trip. I am looking into getting a new boat, i blew the motor on my bass boat last summer (sold it) and want another one.
One another note, we (me, brother, friend) took a trip out to lake fork a few months ago and we just couldnt get on any fish. My brother is a VERY good angler, fishes tourneys and all, and i had caught the only fish of the day on a bait that he was making fun of me for using..... a rattle trap. I then caught a 5.5lb lmb and those were the only 2 fish caught that day. I am still rubbing that in his face, he always catches the most fish. Good times, good times. |

| I havent been fishing in a really long time. Never was good at it Im guessing, because I have no clue what you guys are talking about with bait. We would just use our cheap poles and fling some bate out there on the hook. Anyways, I would like to go fishing again, seems like a lot of fun. |

| My family has a lake house in Virginia. My dad and I use to go fishing for striped bass all the time. I have some pictures of some nice ones but they're all at home. |

Rapala Rattle Traps catch nice fish. I have a bleeding shad I use quite a bit.
You know I am so fricken down for an Amistad or Fork trip. I could turn you on to some South Texas lakes. I was going to get a boat this year, not going to happen. However; we usually rent a 18.5 bass boat for about 75 bucks Fri- Mon. Fish Finder, live well, trolling motor, and a CD player. I have a truck ( Of course, Texas ) to pull it and we go to Choke Canyon. Great time.. The reds are coming out man .... I am going Red fishing maybe tommorow night. I will post a picture or two. Ill PM yah Trik - The season is young. |

| so I was watching the travel channel. They where showing this retreat up in alaska or some shit. They have these bad ass cabins and what not, and a helipad. They fly you into this remote ass place, then take you into the heli to even more remote fishing spots. If you wanna step it up a notch, you can ball out and have the chef and his equitment come along, hell gourmet up your catch right there on the banks of the river. |

I would be down for a trip, renting a boat sounds good to me. i would be willing to drive somewhere as long as isnt lot 2 far away. I have never been fishing for reds, mainly bass/catfish/crappie.....and carp, yes i LOVE to carp fish, they fight like hell. |
