Yepp, It's me again
I have this following question.
If KEM decks has such great feeling, and if it has such good durability, why doesn't casinos use the very same deck? Why use for example, the Bee deck? |

They're crazy.
It probably has to do with the fact that KEMs are more expensive and they recycle decks frequently to help combat marked cards and other forms of cheating. Recycling KEMs could get a bit more pricey than recycling cheaper decks.

| they replace their casion decks so fast for other reasons besides durability that it would not be worth it. |

| Actually, all the poker rooms in California (more poker rooms than Vegas) that I've played at use KEM. |

| I was in Vegas last week. Most of the casinos I played at used KEMs, same with Atlantic City. |

Okey. I have trouble picking decks. I'm about to host a pretty big tournament, with lots of players I've never seen. It is supposed that this turnament should be played once a month (at most..). I'm a little worried about card marking etc.
But maybe I'm just paranoid. What do you recommend me to do?
Should I buy a bunch of KEM cards, and re-use them, or a bunch of Bee cards and replace them after each turnament? |

KEM cards. They'll last you a lifetime.
Another reason casinos use KEM cards is that they are very difficult to mark. |

Xianti,
Thanks again for the KEM decks. You're right, they are among the best cards for poker. Difficult to mark, they help prevent cheating. Also, they are extremely durable. |
