Earlier tonight I had a hand that I'm totally not sure I played right: I was in late position with AhAc. Someone else raised preflop and I reraised to 4xBB. The raiser and one other player called. The flop came QsQd9s. Caller raised min and raiser reraised to 4xBB. What should my play here have been? I put one of the two of them on a Q.
Will post actual results after a few responses.

I would have reraised to see when I was in the hand. Would have reraised enough so that if someone reraised AI I would be able to let go of my hand if I believed he had the Queen. |

What were your reads on the players?
Stack sizes?
For now, I probably would have re-raised to feel out for trips and try to push out any flush draw. To that end, any pushback or over the top raises, I would be prepared to let this go. |

Raise it again to 7BB. If the first player will make a Q very transparent with anything but a fold. The second player may flat call with JJ or KK and push with the queen. If he does just flat call to slowplay the queen, check behind him on the turn and fold to a river bet unimproved.

I was pretty confident that at least one of them had a Q. Our stak sizes were all basically equal as well - within a couple BB of each other (I think I was at the lead).
As it turned out:I folded, and they both ended up going all in. The first player had a queen and a blank. The second player had pocket 9s. The turn came: Ad. Which I know was a long shot, but definitely made me wonder if I did the right thing...I'm assuming that if I was confident in my read of one of them having the queen (the first guy was very passive before this - I don't remember him ever raising on the flop when someone else raised preflop), I made the right call and just had bad timing for amazing luck. River was As. |

| You did the right thing, just so happens that one of your two outs landed on the river after the fold. Right move followed by bad luck (or as I call it, "fate mocking you"). Don't think about it any further. I know it's hard on a hand like this, but when I know I've made the right move I try not to pay any attention to the cards that come out afterward. It can make you second-guess yourself, and pull moves later that you shouldn't. |

I think the raiser had 9-9...
The otherone might have had a Q-10 or something...
When the 9-9 hand knew you both had big hands, and one of you probably even a Q his hand were invisible, so he raised... |

Actually both of my two outs came - first on the turn and then on the river - but yeah, I thought I made the right call. Thanks for putting fate in it's place  |
