Alright we'll see. Update- Checked my email and I've got all histories but one now. Come on fimanoid. Smile

I think it might be nice to have both human readable one and a scripted one for xfactor (if it works). I'll forward them as I get them. It couldn't hurt to try a single hand first and experiment with various flavors of the combined history to see how xfactor reacts. Much thanks Jeffrey

I'm doing mine right now, almost done Smile Are the quote tags necessary?

Quote tags make it easier for FS. He's spending a huge amount of time on this, so let's make it easier for him.

FS, you're awesome! This is gonna be VERY interesting.

Yea, I think this could easily be much more automated so you don't have to write the quote tags in the future, for now it helps me though. Once I get some time I'll sit down and design and write a good merge script to make it easier to come up with a good looking result.

Also Jeffrey is messing with the histories now to see if we can get it to run in Xfactor's replayer, which would be absolutely sweet but I'm not counting my chickens.

I got in touch with support at PokerXFactor (and mentioned this would be a good advertising venue Wink). They said that if I emailed them all of the hand histories, they would combine them into a single view for us. I'd imagine we could do this quarterly (maybe even monthly), especially if they see a lot of new visitors.

Once I have all the histories (am I still missing fim's?), I'll get back in touch with them and then I'll post the related link.

For next one -- or this one if you're having trouble -- how about a wiki? I can set up and host it for ye.

oooooohh... a wiki! Another great idea.

LeFou, maybe you should explain/show what a wiki is for those that may not know.

well, what is this? I'm very curios?

Some ideas for any of these we might do in the future.

1. post "chunks" of hands at a time for commenting so that the comment thread is not as confusing and has more focus.
2. improve readability and automation.
3. Anything else?

Also, last I heard, DaGOAT only needs one more player for the Euro sng. This doesn't mean you need to be from Europe - only that you're willing to play a Stars game that is during a normal Euro time. Check with da GOAT for more info on what time he's thinking of. If you're a night owl it might be a good time for you.

I think it's full with one on the waiting list - I'm the last player who has the pleasure of playing at 6am after a big dinner with some colleagues from South Africa. I'm sure it will be -EV!

#2 is pretty important i think. we can learn a lot from doing things like this but its really difficult to read 150 hands without it on a replayer or a converted hh. i also think we should do more debating on speculative hands (make everyone's opinion heard) and then decide on the optimal play. maybe make sub-threads for each hand being debated on
