Since option 2 and 4 pay the same, I really don't think it matters which one I take. I'm extremely confident we're gonna win this homegame. Not only is Shawn Alexander out, not only is the Hawks passing game 18th in the league to take the running games' place, but my Bears defence is just as solid if not better than the past few years, they haven't allowed shit for points this year. I'm looking for Rex and Jones to run rampent on the Hawks D.
Bears -3 or GT over 34.5 are both wins I think.

Uh...
this is a no play game for me, but if I WERE going to play it, I would be on SEA +3.5. 3.5 points in what should be a close game would be worth it to me. |

| None of the above. I'm with lee, the best option is Seattle +3.5. |

Should be a good game, both teams are impressive this year.
Yes, Alexander is out for Seattle but they did get Branch who was New England's best receiver. Branch didn't do much last week but this week he could be dangerous...
On my fantasy team I'm starting M. Morris for Seattle(since Alexander is out) and R. Gould for Chicago(he's been a great kicker so far this year). |

Well pro's, except for Seatle throwing for 200 yards..which isn't really much actually, it looks like the rookie was pretty much deadnut on this prediction. This completes my other wager which was a parlay of this game (bears -3 +200) and New England outright (-105). (we didn't need those 6 points baby!) Parlay paid extremely well I'm stoaked. I also won another very small wager taking the OVER.
I can't and won't bet the league like you guys can, but bears and pats games I feel pretty strong about picking winners. Just not enough NFL exposure the past few years, I'm jaded. I'll probably go 80/90% winners on NE/Chi. So far I'm 8-1 this year. (includes separate bets within those two teams games)....Minni game burnt a lot of people I think.
Hey, question, a game like GB vs Philly Monday night that's paying +500 for GB to win outright, is it worth just putting SOMETHING on that? I think so.

I'll eat crow on this one, the Bears looked awesome. The fact that it was still a +4 unit day for me takes the sting out of it a little |

It's not very classy to throw losing bets in other people's faces, but congrats.
And as for your GB bet, go nuts, man. I personally wouldn't do it, but that's just me (and look what happened tonight. ) |

I seriously didn't mean to throw anything in anyone's face, I appologize if I came off that way.
.....you guys can bet circles around me and I made note of that in my post. Oooooh wow, I can bet on a whopping two teams in the NFL and feel confident, good for me. lol Meanwhile you guys are throwing around $1000's on all the league games probably. See, I can boast about my inability too.
Anyway, no harm meant....I'm just an over-zealous rookie with a couple more bucks than yesterday morning.
I hope the rest of your Sunday's went well,
Mike |
