number 1:
villian is on 4-5 of my tables and he is playing really LAG. i stacked him about 15 minute earlier when i called a huge c/r from him on a 356 board with JJ. i call his turn push, his 98 missed and i won. i think my hand here is really telegraphed, and hes using some 4th level thinking to act like he has a monster, but really he just wants me to fold what looks like AK.

number 2
villian and i have played together sporadically over the past few months and we have talked before, so we are both somewhat familiar with eachother's play.

i have seen him call preflop reraises like with with 100bb stacks with such marginal hands as T7s. earlier this session i reraised him preflop and he put in another raise with kk (which lost to my aa AI PF). that hand might rule out AA-QQ, but not sure. my line looks like KK, and i think he is trying to move me off of it, but at the same time he could be trying to get value out of AK or something. he insta pushed river FWIW.

-my lines represent really weak hands
-since villians know im weak, why would they bet so much? i obv cant call a push with my holdings in both hands, but if villian knows my hand they can exploit it by trying to get me to fold.

I like 1 better than 2 - there is no way you check anything to river less than the near nuts (5X/JJ/QQ), so he just bets thinking you cannot call without a pair you don't have (since you never bet). I thought it could be a chop, actually. Can you make the same call with AT?

2... I actually thought he had an ace, but wasn't sure you didn't have one until the 2nd one turned. Note also a river push is not much of an over bet (801 into 774)

yeah first one is PROLLY alright, i mean i doubt he would be bluffing with tt here cause he still thinks he has value in it, so its either like a 5, maybe jj or a bluff. The only thing that worries me a little he he may be pushing here with 22-77 or something as what he thinks is a bluff. Its still prolly good tho.

The second one though i don't like, i agree you are going to be snapping off bluffs sometimes, but it is also very common for people to check an ace here, both strong and weak. I also think that in his range for "bluffing" he could hold some queens in his hand, so i really don't like this call.
