Finishing up Part 5...

1. In Hand 5-6 what do you think of Harrington's advice to open-limp with AJs in UTG+1? How do you play it?

2. In Hand 5-8 you have K8o in the SB and an aggressive button open-raises to 2XBB. Do you agree that calling is the worst option? How do you play it?

3. Hands 5-9 and 5-12 seem like similar pre-flop situations in which Harrington gives opposite advice. In Hand 5-9 you have AA and he recommends playing a 3-way pot after a shortstack goes all-in, while in Hand 5-12 you have QQ and Harrington recommends re-raising to isolate after a shortstack goes all-in. Are your cards the only imporant difference here? If not, what else is important?

4. In Hand 5-15 you're UTG+1 and open-limp TT for $20. You get two callers followed by a shortsack all-in from the button. You're big stack with ~$4,000 and the two active players behind you are medium stacks ($1,660 & $1,400), shortstack has $630. What's your play?

5. In Hand 5-20 Harrington advocates varying your pre-flop raise size depending on whether you want to encourage or discourage action. Do you like this idea?

1. I'm not a big fan of limping. That said, this is one of the few situations in which I would do it.

2. Not sure about this one.

3. I agree with him that the right play in 5.12 with QQ is to move all-in. I'm not sure about the advice in 5.9.
