I have played in many MTTs over the past few months and i have discoverd that i am having trouble folding most hands Pre Flop. I am consistantly telling myself 'Go on Call it, limp in and see the flop.' is this right or wrong? i usually tend to call the blinds with tehse hands only to end up folding them 99% of the time. This seems to be eating away at my chip stack during the big tornaments. Can you give me sometops on how to get myself into folding adverage hands like J 7 ect.

J7 is a trash hand I just wouldn't play it unless it was suited and the rebuy period or some weird set of circumstances where I had odds to call...

This isn't what I'd call a mediocre hand I'd call it a trash hand mediocre is something like QTs

Try reading the playing hand categories on the FTR site. In the beginning of MTT's you want to be playing very tight, I believe, so you want to be playing premium hands. If you want to limp, do it in late position with things like suited connectors and offsuited facecards.

Most of the time you shouldnt even be limping, limping is a sign of weakness, if youre gonna play the hand raise it! I know in some cases limping is the most adequate thing to do...ie) suited connectors in LP etc. Early on in an MTT you should only play premium hands (this is on freezeouts not R&A) if im UTG and have KJo ill probably muck it, chances are someone has me dominated. You always want to be the one controlling the hand, betting raising etc. you dont want to be the guy who is just cold calling every bet that comes his way, be the aggressor it will pay off.

I suggest you read Ripptydes MTT guide in the tournament forum, it will really help your game, just remember to try to limp in as few times as possible.
