So A5s, A8s

I've heard that limping with drawing hands pf can be profitable-

Am I giving away too much limping wit. drawing hands and low pp?
Should I possibly be raising with Ax suited at certain times?
If I am faced with standard raise behind me (3-4x bb)- what shud i do??

Talkin full ring here- advice appreciated- Laughing

Limping with low pp is profitable just because you can make so much when you hit a set. Especially if theres alot of other limpers.
I think AXs isnt because the only flop I'd be comfortable with is a flush. Even if a A comes up you are likely chasing someone with a higher kicker.

i agree with smooth - you have no real value on tp because if you get any kind of action, youre beat - never call a raise with Axs...

BUT if you happen to have it in late position and its folded to you its OK to try and take the blinds down - just dont call a reraise

Also, a set is a disguised hand. You are much less likely to get paid off if you hit the flush.

its ok if you play postflop well enough to know when tpnk is good and when it isn't.

Axs is a great hand for loose agressive play because you flop pair+flush draw a lot and can push people around with your big draw.

Just remember post flop why you enterd the pot in the first place. Don't get attached to Ax when you pair the ace, you need at least 2 pair or a good draw. And don't get married to Small PP with overs on the board, your playing these for sets.

If that is true then you better not play them.

Axs is usually an auto-raise for me, unless I am in the blinds with many limpers, or unless I've been raising too much so that I don't get credit for it anymore.. but that is 6max.

I always play Axs, limping in all but the last two positions, where I will try to steal the blinds (and would do the same w/ Axo). If called in the latter situation, I will usually continue bluffing on the flop.

As for hitting an ace, I will bet to see where I'm at, giving up the hand if raised or called.
