The fourth season of our popular online poker league is under way at PokerStars! If you don't already have a PokerStars account, please click here.
- Beginning June 14, we have one league game each and every Wednesday at 10:00pm ET and Saturday at 3:00pm ET (unless it falls on a major holiday or holiday weekend).
- All FTR Gauntlet game dates, times and additional info for each event will be detailed in the FTR Events forum (viewable via our FTR [url=http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/forum/calendar.php]Calendar
[/url]). Check our Calendar often to see when the next Gauntlet game is approaching. For a summary schedule of the entire season, click here.
The season consists of 24 freezeout tournaments. The games are mostly no-limit hold'em. A few of the games are other formats and they are indicated in the name of the game. The standard buy-in for each is $10+$1. Throughout the season, there will be special league events such as bounties and other Bonus prizes.
Each player may play up to any 12 (and no more than 12) of those 24 games.
The season's leaderboard standings are determined by a point system based on this formula:
Points = 10 * [sqrt(n)/sqrt(k)] * [1+log(b+0.25)]
Variables:
n is the number of entrants
k is the place of finish (k=1 for the first-place finisher, and so on)
b is the buyin amount in dollars (excluding rake). For freerolls the buyin is $0.
ALL players of each game receive points for participating.

The FTR Gauntlet Leaderboard will be kept up-to-date with the players ranked by league points earned.
Each tourney's prize money goes to the winners of that game like any other tournament. You may play fewer than 12 games and you still win prize money if you finish in the money, but for the FTR Gauntlet Championship, trophy and eternal bragging rights, you are playing to accumulate as many points as you can and earn your place at the top of the leaderboard.
At the end of the season, the top 3 on the leaderboard will be awarded additional money and prizes and the player with the most league points will claim the FTR Gauntlet Championship and our coveted FTR Gauntlet Trophy!
Before you can play in any of the league games, you MUST register your PokerStars name with us here:

PASSWORDS
Once registered, you will have immediate access to the upcoming game's password.
Click Schedule in the FTR Gauntlet section's top nav, then click Get Password next to the game in the list.
Please DO NOT share these passwords with anyone!
Sharing of passwords may result in forfeiture of league participation. |
