My biggest pot so far. I noticed that 6 max pots just don't get pumped up as much. I'm almost thinking these games have less variance...
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter
Preflop: Fnord is MP with J , A .
UTG calls, Fnord raises, CO folds, Button folds, SB calls, BB 3-bets, UTG calls, Fnord calls, SB calls.
Flop: (12 SB) 5 , J , J (4 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, Fnord bets, SB calls, BB raises, UTG folds, Fnord 3-bets, SB calls, BB folds.
Turn: (10 BB) A (2 players)
SB bets, Fnord raises, SB 3-bets, Fnord caps, SB calls.
River: (18 BB) 4 (2 players)
SB bets, Fnord raises, SB 3-bets, Fnord caps, SB calls.
Final Pot: 26 BB
Results in white below:
SB has 8c Qc (flush, ace high).
Fnord has Jh As (full house, jacks full of aces).
Outcome: Fnord wins 26 BB. |

wow hyper you replyed fast, as soon as i saw my post i realized the BB was 10 bucks and went back and edited it, it took me 30 sec but you beat me to it..lol

$2 rake too Until about 6 months ago that would have been about half of my working bankroll. Consider it as motivation to move up as fast as you can afford to... |

Rake vrs pot size is something to SERIOUSLY consider..
in .5/1 a $20 pot creates a $2 rake.. 10%
in 5/10 a $200 pot creates a $2 rake.. 1%
Doesn't take a genius to figure out moving up is a big gain just in rake vrs pot. |

Seriously? I thought it was closer to 5% except the minimum on Party is pretty high relative to other sites.
I started looking at numbers for 2/4 full vs 5/10 max and since I'm playing so many pots with the rake capped out I don't think there is much of a difference between the two in total rake paid. However, relative to profit, 5/10 is a little better. |
