Mission: Start at 100nl and build my "imaginary cash bankroll" up so I can develop my skill level the old fashioned way.

Bankroll: I deposited $3k on Party as my 100NL BR. If i play a tourney on party, i deposit the buyin from firepay and cash out the winnings afterwards. This way my Party BR represents my cash BR. I have 25% Rakeback on Party which gets paid to me on PokerStars at the end of the month. Every day i'm going to check how much I've made in Rakeback that day and deposit it to Party to maintain the correct BR amount. (God i love being overrolled Peanut Butter Jelly Time! )

Note: Whenever I refer to bb or bb/100, i am referring to Big Blinds, not Poker Tracker Big Bets.

Phase 1 - 100NL

Goal: Play 20k Hands of 100NL. I hope to make $3000 at Party 100NL 6-max including Rakeback. I've figured out that my Rakeback at 100nl is approx. $0.019 per hand. To meet my goal I need to make about $0.15/hand. This would entail running about 13.1 bb/100.

Timeframe: As far as tournaments I am only playing the Sunday tourneys and the 2 big Wednesday tourneys. On other days I plan on playing 2k-3k hands per day, 4-tabling 6-max.

Final Phase 1 Graph + Statistics (5/4/2006)

Total Hands: 20,000
VP$IP: 23.31
PFR: 12.87
W$SD: 53.16

Total Profit: $2090.84
bb/100: 10.45
Profit w/ Rakeback: $2470.84

Multi-Table Ratio: 4.11
Total Hours Played: 50.78
$/hr w/ Rakeback: $48.66

Phase 2 - 200NL

Goal: Play 20k Hands of 200NL. I hope to make $6000 at Party 200NL 6-max including Rakeback. I've figured out that my Rakeback at 200nl is approx. $0.035 per hand. To meet my goal I need to make about $0.30/hand. This would entail running about 13.25 bb/100.

Phase 2 Graph + Statistics (Current As Of 5/4/2006)

Total Hands: 5225
VP$IP: 22.33
PFR: 13.26
W$SD: 50.56

Total Profit: $856.07
bb/100: 8.19
Profit w/ Rakeback: $1038.95

Multi-Table Ratio: 4.30
Total Hours Played: 12.25

Good luck and good going so far. However, why are you the only person on FTR who refuses to use PTBB as a measure of success? It's just a bit confusing is all.

Update:

Well, after discussing this with some people I decided that changing my goals to be based upon hands played instead of $ won was more appropriate and less likely to tilt me. You probably see in my 100nl graph when this discussion occurred. I'm moving on up to 200nl. My game is definetely getting better although I know I still have a lot of leaks. Here are my final stats for 100NL:

Lamb--why is your WR/100 double your bb/100? Mine are equal.
