Good work, I vow to NEVER play at PokerStars EVER again... This is just incredible. I now have a sore bloody hand from punching my computer desk. Full Tilt Poker is the only place I'll ever play a ring game again. AHHHHHHHHHHH

I gotta say, neither of those hands really seems all that unusual. I mean it sucks to lose money on the river, but it's really not uncommon at all to have an A hit on the river and ruin Ks. And on the second hand, you were technically beat on the flop and the other guy had 5 good outs to beat you with.

I am sympathetic on that first hand. The guy that beat you called a forty dollar bet on the flop with nothing but two overs - he has to be losing all kinds of money making calls like that. The second one, eh. As mentioned you were already beat on the flop. Definitely can't blame droopy for staying in with his trip 7s and king kicker, which would have walked even without the last six coming down. Of course, staying in on your large pre-flop bet with K7 suited is a marginal decision at best.

Guys, look at the 677 hand more closely. The guy calling my bets was A6, the guy with trip 7s was all-in due to shortstack...

You'll never be better than simply a good poker player if you can't control your emotions.

I wouldn't play there anymore either. These players are so bad you stand no chance of beating them. Definitely go find some good players so you can win more money.

Is there anything wrong with this logic?

I would seriously recommend not berating other players at the table. It can be hard, but I don't see how it can possibly benefit you.

Yeah, I have to say this is a pretty pathetic thread. These are every day bad beats that happen to everyone, although that's not to say that no one else posts beats like this. Any player that's been playing for any reasonable length of time should be able to take these types of beats in stride.

The guy with AJ made a bad call on the flop and caught a 3 outer. Sucks, but oh well. The other hand will reach a show down pretty often with a loose player. It wouldn't even think this hand would be the worth the slightest mention.

Blaming these "bad beats" on the site makes the thread even more silly.

I think I'll hijack this thread for something worth while.. Michael, how's your MTT game been lately? I recall you were on an insane rush not too long ago?

Some places, some losses, no firsts. A few weeks ago I was off my game, and went for a record for me with not finishing in the money for a week, but I've been doing better than that recently. I've had a few $1k - $2k wins, but nothing bigger than $2k since winning the London package. My main problem since the two big cash wins, once I get deep into big tournaments, has been going out just before the final table when I do make it deep, and then a few final table finishes around 5th or so, but many many more than I'd like around 11th - 15th place. 11th specifically has happened like 4-5 times in big tournaments, which is really frustrating.

How's your short handed play? Might wanna look at that as a reason for busting out just before the final table.

I think its more to do with being in blind trouble when they get really big. I'm pretty aggressive, and generally do well shorthanded.
