Hero raises in CO to 40 BB(superdonk) calls.
Flop Ks8h2d bb checks hero bets 80 superdonk calls.
Turn 3h superdonk leads for 120 Hero raises to 750 superdonk calls.
River 8d Superdonk says "oops" in chat and puts my last $300 and change in the middle. Hero calls.
I would have to be on crack to fold the river getting like 8:1 right? |

Folding the river would be a crime, I am not just too crazy about that big, committing raise on turn. 360 in the pot 120 to call, I like raising here but I am more likely to make it ~300 to go, then you will have a PSB left for river. I am more willing to keep the pot in control here, though.
had he been donk betting before? Usually its a sign of weakness (an 8) |

Statistically, are you winning here even 1 in 8 times? What, conceivably, could you possibly be up against that you beat? Given that this guy's a superdonk, I guess he could have KT+, or QQ. |

I assume this is a NL1000 game. Obviously as you move up the stakes, donkeys like this slowly but surely begin to disappear. Even still, is it at least somewhat common to run into players like this, even at the low-end of high stakes games? The consensus at 2p2 is yes, but I guess I still have the impression that games like 5/10NL are very tough. What do you think? |

Im curiouis about this too, sometimes I dont really know what to think of th 2+2ers. I was reading a thread the other day where a regular from the nosebleed NL stakes was saying that 10/20 at party was filled with donks and he is confident he could beat the game for over 10bb/100 with a 100%VPIP, and was being atleast somewhat serious about it. I am nowhere near these stakes but I find it hard to imagine that anybody but regulars would be playing these games. How many fish really are at these levels? |
