Pot is almost $80 before his river push...no solid read...i think this is kinda borderline considering he might be on a weak king. thoughts? |

| You're getting pretty decent odds on a call here, about 2.5-1. I might be inclined to call this, but I don't blame you for folding if you did since I can easily see him having a boat here. |

| I`d call here for sure, looks like he has a boat, but without a solid read I don`t fold to a shortstack with these pot odds, you will see a weak king or just a silly bluff here often enough. I make loose calls playing with shorstacks all the time both at 200NL and 400NL and its turned out to be +EV play for me at least. I consider anyone with less than half a buyin short.. |

Considering that you get 2:1 pot odds when your opponent makes a pot sized bet, 2.5:1 isnt really that great.
This is a fold (you see the boat here more than 70% of the time IMO) unless you have information that tells you this villain would push the river without a boat. |

| If villain is an abc tighty I like the flop call but against a stronger player I am raising the flop, and calling the turn when the board pairs. my line here would be raise, call, fold for flopturnriver. |

| yea about PF. calling is good only when the table is passive both PF and PoF. (IMO) |

agreed...and raise is great when the limper is bad and you can isolate him and the people behind you are relatively tight |

He could also have the nut flush. Played wierd, but I don't see KQ/QQ/KK limping pre-flop, JJ maybe but unlikely he flat calls the turn raise with JJ (and you have a jack). So that leaves 44/K4 as the only reasonable boats, and the K4 only because he's in the BB in an unraised pot.
However, he could also make the same assumption about you holding AXclubs... heck, he could have AT with the Ac and just be donkish. |
