SoCal folks, Check out the Barona Casino (Brick & Mortar) $200 offer (thru 4/30/06) -- advantage play
It's a little different than online offers, but an excellent deal.
1st time signers to the slots club.
Minimum 2 hours of play on your 1st day -- no WR.
VP ok as slot requirement.
They'll pay up to $200 on your losses, or double your winnings up to $200.
There are some decent VP machines remaining -- you'll want to avoid most. Go real early and you'll get a seat at a decent machine.
Deposit $200 and play 1.75 hours slowly and carefully. If you don't have a winning balance at that point, turn up the bets and press your variance into a $200 loss or a substantial win. Any other option is a waste.
My friend went home 'even'. I went home with a nice little payday. |

| I think VP = video poker, there is ideal play, I saw a TV show on it once. Some machines have better payout structure than others, those are the 'good' ones |

You can google "full pay" "video poker" and get some charts. Also WizardOfOdds has some resources.
The shorthand for good VP usually refers to the FullHouse/Flush payout at one coin. For example, good JacksOrBetter is 9/6, while crippled payout JoB is 9/5 or 8/6. It brings a game with a 0.3% HA to a game with a 3% HA. Yuck.
Another is DeucesWild VP. "Good" DW is 10/4, and 9/5 is even better.
Whatever game, you want less than 1% HA. Hopefully far less than 1%.
Here's a trainer program pre-programmed with "good" payouts. http://www.gamblingtools.net/vp/vptrainer.html
"Good" vp and bad vp exist online, too. Starluck=bad VP. MGViper shops=good VP. |
