Every week we get together 6-10 of us usually and have a 20$ buyin NL game. My friends are all lose call stations... calling every bet with high pair, etc, not much raising, bluff too much, etc. Often the winnner will be whoever catches the most cards (there's always one who catches everything on teh river all ngiht)

I try playing tight agressive, but by the time I get a hand to play except for the occaisonal blind steal they have made a few big stacks within themselves and its card to play against when it gets ti heads up or final 3, so I'm thinking maybe I should play a little looser... but I'm njot sure. When I dont have to go to work ill post some hand histories

In the beginning limp everything, if you hit something overbet it, Take advantage of their play. its the pot is 200 bet 400 make them pay a few times for being a calling station and they will play differently Smile. Don't be afriad to throw your chips out there either when you hit a hand (don't cold bluff people like this). Then tighten up once you have a sizable stack.

I think I disagree with Rad, if "limp everything" means limp any 2 cards.

I'd be more inclined to raise everything playable PF, from any position. If they are playing mediocre cards, you're getting their chips in there. Obviously, you need to be prepared to fold on most flops since bluffing won't fly.

Top pair with so-so kicker is bettable from late position. You'll get called my midpair, gutshots, etc.

If you want to get experimental, try the "2 categories" thread above...

The most important thing in regular home games is to be unpredictible. If they have 2 brain cells (which they may not) they will figure out that you're a tight player. Switch roles from time to time and keep them guessing.
