after reviewing this hand, i can see that the reraise allin of mine was probably a mistake given his calls on flop and turn, even though it wasn't for much at all. but i felt compelled to get all of his chips in the pot given the pot size at that point. the thing is, only better hands will call it, and he set me up for it quite well. don't think there is anyway i can't call his lead out of $30, but i could have saved $33 here. little hands like this add up over time...

i should note i don't raise 22 like that often, i did it because he had been completing his SB on any two so i felt like i was probably ahead preflop.

Preflop: Hero is BB with 2d, 2h.
4 folds, SB completes, Hero raises to $6, SB calls $4.

Flop: ($12) 7d, 2s, 9c (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $12, SB calls $12.

Turn: ($36) Kh (2 players)
SB bets $10, Hero raises to $27, SB calls $17.

River: ($90) 5h (2 players)
SB bets $30, Hero raises to $63, SB raises to $93.

Final Pot: $246

Results below in white:
SB has 7c 7h (three of a kind, sevens).
Hero has 2d 2h (three of a kind, twos).
Outcome: SB wins $246.

you played completely perfect. You want all his money in when you have a set. You cant do anything at all about set-over-set, espically in 6-max. It just happens.

Yeah you might wanted to have just called on the end, not out of fear of set over set but becuase an OESD on the flop completed (68). I would have pushed though...
