How does this look? Opponent bet his made hands and did not bet his draws...I figure I'm probably behind here on the flop but reraise anyway to make sure. His call confirms that I am definitely behind. When the turn is a fourth diamond I figure this for a REALLY scary card to my opponent. He bet almost the pot on the flop because he was scared of the flushy-looking board, then checks the turn to me, so I figure this card scares the bejeezus out of him and I can possibly push him off of whatever he has....

Pretty standard with this read, or no?

Also, if he comes over the top of me I am gone with a quickness, TPTK on this board is going nowhere fast.

Why not? Let the guy believe he made a great laydown?

I feel like if this situation happens out of 100 times, more than 50 does villain re-raise with a flush.

First of all, someone changed my post, second of all, I don't show here because I want him to think he folded the best hand. Once you bluff him out of a pot, he knows you are capable of running bluffs like that. Showing your hand will just make it so you get called down more, not necessarily on a 4-flush board but once he sees a bluff he'll just generally be inclined to call you down.

I know what your original post said, that I shouldn't have shown this bluff....no worries.

Anyway, I hardly ever show bluffs. I have my "muck losing/uncalled hands" button checked at all times. This one was different because he typed in the chatbox that he had two pair but couldn't call, and blah blah blah. I'm thinking two things here. 1) This could possibly put him on tilt to donate chips my way, and 2) Next time I have a hand I will bet it the same and he may call thinking I bluff.

I'm not planning on bluffing this guy, or anyone else anytime soon, unless the absolute PERFECT situation happens.

Yeah, that's good reasoning too.
