Lol.. who would look at a heart necklace and think poker? Smile

Ironically, she really does want to learn how to play NLHE. The downside is that she has no idea how to play poker.. I'd be starting with the hand rankings, and she is terrible with numbers. Luckily, I'm a miracle worker. Shocked

a lil over a year ago I had no clue what the hand rankings where... not even 6 months later I was a winning player. I havent won a lot just yet, but Im still up quite a bit more then I have put in. If you have a knowledgable, patient tutor, you can do it so fast. I just had ftr in general, so not as much 1 on 1, but still not knowing if a flush beats a striaght or the otehr way around, to a winning player in 6 months is pretty damn good.

I must say.. that is very impressive. I started playing hold 'em over a year ago, but I had played poker since I was a kid and already knew, more or less, how to play the game. FTR has helped me a lot as well, and I have a lot to be thankful for because of that.

I just got a new place where I'm gonna have a real card table so my buddies can come over.. they've all been playing for a while but they are awful. If she's willing to learn, I think she will be able to beat our home game within a week to be perfectly honest.

Haha, she's hardly showing any in the picture. Even if she was, I wouldn't really care.. I was the one who posted the pic in the first place.

true true... you are a good guy, hopefully one day I can think like you. As it is Im still a jealous bastard... I love when my girlfreind dresses all sexy, but I hate it at the same time you know? And despite the fact that I know Im the one taking her home, when we are at parties and shes talking to some guy (even if I know its just her friend) I just get all jealous heh...

You sound like my best friend.. he gets really controlling over his woman when he's in a relationship. I'm gonna tell you what I always try to tell him.. just relax. If your woman wanted to cheat on you, she wouldn't be so obvious. If you go out to a party and she's talking to a guy friend, don't even think twice about it.. she's just trying to have a good time. Personally I've never cheated on a gf, so maybe I'm just a trusting person.

Strike up a convo with a new girl if you have to... just don't get mad at your gf for talking to another guy, definately not worth it and always without fail backfires.

Jealousy is childish. Of course this is coming from a guy who banged his girlfriends sister.

I'M NOT 21--I'M 31 Smile . But I sure wish I was 21 again some days. Of course, I would rather be 21 and know what I know at 31. Very Happy

You're right though, these guys make me feel old sometimes!!

I like baseball caps, though. St Louis Cardinal baseball caps are the best!!!

This one's from a couple years ago, freshman year, but I still think it's hilarious. Me and some buds getting drunk in our dorm room. I'm the one between the girls.
