I think this is a new one for me: calling all in with Bottom Pair Bottom Kicker

The whole story:
free multitable B&M tourney here in Dallas. blinds 20/40

I'm SB and get red aces. Bet 5XBB. BB and button call.

Flop is 349 rainbow, or some crap like that. I bet 300

BB calls, button raises to 1500 -- this is about 90% of my stack so I put the rest of my chips in.

BB calls this. Button (strangely) folds to the 140 reraise.

I guess button was top pair top kicker and put us both on draws? When he got 2 calls, he had to figure a set or overpair (like for example my overpair)? What are your thoughts?

I show my AA and BB shows 23 off.

You heard me right. 23 off. I think isn't this the worst possible headup hand?

River is a 3. I pack my bags and go.

That's horrible.

But you get crazy things in the freerolls. Even the live freerolls.

NO!

Suck-outs are a cruel trick played by good players onto bad players. It gives them the illusion that their account isn't on the fast track to bust.

Well as a guy whose account has been bust for a month -- so that all I can play are freerolls -- this is cold comfort.

Is there a freeroll strategy? I'm reading soupie's thread on MTTs... how to adjust for Free (read "annoying as #$%@") MTTs.
