I know this question probably gets asked 1000x's but I'm looking to buy my first poker book and i need some advice on what one to get.
I play almost exclusivley NLHE (mostly ring games, but a few sng's) and consider myself to be a mediocre player at best (i think i play smart & have a good understanding of the strategy it takes to win...but i cant seem to turn that into profit yet)
Ive heard alot about 'Theory of Poker' and various other books, but most of the ones dealing with the type of games i play (small stakes livegames/online games) seem to focus on limit hold em and im not sure how much that would help with NL. Any advice is great & thanks in advance! |
