"Chinamaniac" had been raising a lot of hands towards the beginning of the session, but he'd since slowed down, so I suspect he might've just been on a card rush. The one hand I saw him show down was A-K suited. Even if he had somewhat loose raising standards, I think that in general an out of position raise from the big blind after two limpers, followed by a bet into two opponents deserves at least some respect, even from lagg opponents. Should I call this assuming my overcards are legitimate outs (I'm resigning myself to hoping he has A-K), or just fold and move on?

You absolutely cannot fold that flop for one small bet.

No folding here is -EV.

the four gutshot outs alone is woth calling one SB for. and he could easily have AK or AQ here thus theres some outs left in your overcards.

What does everyone think of raising this here to isolate the limper? If you had a read I like it better than limping IMO, especially if our open limper is a cool 50/5/.5 that I try to get position on in these shorthanded games.

I don't mind a raise here at all. and I rasie it almost always when facing only one limper, but reads can alternate this ofcurse.

your implied odds are good enough to call it on the flop for the gutshot, but you could always raise for the free card on the turn
