This hand made me feel so dirty I had to take a shower afterwards.
I could probably have avoided the outcome had I pushed harder on the turn, and a strong argument for folding on the river can be made, but given how he was betting I felt the only hand he could be holding that would be beating me was AQ. I definitely did not expect to see tens. I mean, who bets less than half the pot when they hit bottom set on a 10-J-A flop with 4 people seeing it? I guess he was scared of someone holding aces, jacks or QK. Christ. I am going to look for something to smash.

I think this hand is fine.
Much better than the last one.
I don't think either of you screwed up too badly, actually.

If he's going to bet that dangerous flop 4-way, gotta be at least Pot it. I'd probably have check/called or check/folded the turn depending on the bet size. His turn call of the reraise is fairly loose unless he's looking at implied odds. You could have pushed the turn harder, but that was plenty enough to get a laydwn. He has to figure he's beat there. Even considering implied odds, I think it was a mistake to call the turn reraise. His river boat outs could be tainted(like if you had AA/KK/JJ).

His river AI definitely has me worried though. Would trips make this AI after you pretty much told him you had the straight on the turn? Overall I'd say somewhere between strangely and badly played by the opp, but I'm not sure I'd call it a bad beat. I hate those kinds of flops w/AK.

I would prefer a push on the turn. Try to pick up the pot there, he's not going to pay you off on the river anyway with 4 str cards on the board. If it's a split pot, oh well.

With all that paint, I would have suspected a 2 pair or K for a straight. Anyway, another paint card can kill you (like it did), you're not planning to fold on the river, so just go on the turn.

He called 265 to win ~1000 + ~600 more at the river, assuming he read you had the straight and would pay him off at the river no matter what if the board paired or not. With 10 outs (1xT,3xJ,3xQ,3xA) that is marginally +EV.

Btw, the turn play could as well be another straight (reraising AI would only make sense with Kdxd), so I guess your river call is ok.
