HI guys,

Last night I was dealt AA on the BB and made a standard 4-5 BB raise. UTG raised me for another 4 BB. I was then folded around to me.

The strategy when you have AA,KK is to isolate an oppenent, and this opbjective was done. What should I do here, re-raise, knowing that he will probably re-raise me all-in and I will call or just call, see the flop and then take a decision ?

What I did yesteday is that I re-raised and he went all-in and I called. He had QJo and cath this flop QJQ.....Sad

Did I play right or should I just call his re-raise ?

Thanks for your feed back.

If he reraises you either reraise HUGE or push, he just got lucky. I'd love for JQ to put me all in with AA preflop

Thats only one of the reasons, another main reason is to get your money in with the best hand.

You reraise and hope that he puts you all in!

Talk about perfect... All in with the best hand is where you want to be!
