Here is the 1st hand, I played it horribily...but I have some questions. Whats a good bet on the flop? Pot sized, 3/4, 1/2? Also, assuming he calls, what should I do on the turn? I was too excited that I finally hit a set that I pulled out a measly bet to get calls. Evil or Very Mad /slap

---------------------------------------------------1------------------------------------------------
fjuanl $ 2,245.00
azcoo7 $ 995.00
jbenne30 $ 2,035.00
mistavO $ 1,530.00
dropdeadfred $ 3,195.00

fjuanl Ante/Small blind $ 100.00
azcoo7 Big blind/Bring in $ 200.00

Cards dealt to fjuanl : Three of Spades Three of Hearts
jbenne30 Fold
mistavO Call $ 200.00
dropdeadfred Call $ 200.00
fjuanl Call $ 100.00
azcoo7 Check

pot = $800.00

***FLOP*** : Four of Diamonds Seven of Diamonds Three of Clubs
fjuanl Bet $ 300.00
azcoo7 Fold
mistavO Call $ 300.00
dropdeadfred Fold

pot = $1,400.00

***TURN*** : Six of Diamonds
fjuanl Bet $ 300.00 Rolling Eyes
mistavO Call $ 300.00
pot = $2,000.00

***RIVER*** : Five of Clubs
fjuanl Check
mistavO All-in $ 730.00
fjuanl Call $ 730.00

---------------------------------------------------2------------------------------------------------

Heres the situation :

ITM and I'm shorstacked. I've raised on the button 2 out of 4 times, 1 time I got reraised by dropdeadfred. My other opponent, mistavO, has been playing very tight. I look through the chat and he is always saying "Call!" whenever one of us goes all in. When he did decide to call my AI earlier, he told dropdeadfred to call and then check it down to eliminate me. I've folded my SB in the last 2 orbits to gain some respect from him.

If I were to fold this, what do I push on the button? Bodog's blinds are massive compared to stacks, there really is no time to wait for a good hand. And I have a lot of ground to make up if I want 1st.

fjuanl $ 1,930.00
mistavO $ 4,500.00
dropdeadfred $ 3,570.00

dropdeadfred Set dealer/Bring in spot 8
fjuanl Ante/Small blind $ 250.00
mistavO Big blind/Bring in $ 500.00

Cards dealt to fjuanl : Nine of Spades Four of Clubs
dropdeadfred Fold
fjuanl All-in $ 1,680.00
mistavO Call $ 1,430.00

If I fold here and get trash on the button, I have $1100 on the BB.

on the first hand you're dealing with four players and you're first to go after the flop. i'm actually checking in this situation because i'm not worried about being beat by overcards or a pocket pair (unless someone else has trips!). i'd limp in on the turn to make it look like a steal, and then hit hard on the river. buuut in this little fiasco of a straight hitting the board, theres really nothing you can do. dont dwell on this hand too much.

for the second hand, you should be folding 9-4o. there is method to madness when you're ITM, and I wouldnt just be going all in with junk - atleast wait for something suited or connectors.

I would personally bet near the pot on the flop in the first hand. If it wasnt for the flush draw I would let it go to the end maximizing profit.

Second hand....just keep waiting..you will be on the button next hand. You can fold another hand of trash or manage a steal with a slightly better hand or go for the gold with better cards. Id at least hope for some paint or something suited/connected at minimum.

Hand 1) straight and flush draw in an unraised pot. I bet out 500-600 on the flop here, you dont mind just picking up the pot.

Hand 2) You have about 3 hands before your blinded out. Things to think about before you push or fold. What is he calling all ins with? Is he tight or loose? Will he cal an all in with Q4o? I think you still have a little big of FE although not that much. I dont kno if the big stack wants to risk doubling you up.

If the big stack will call with any two cards, then fold.
If the big stack will call with half of his hands, fold.
If the big stack will only call if he has a pair an ace or a king, then push.
If the big stack will only call if he has a pair, an ace, a king, or a queen, then push.

Hand 1 - Must be pot sized. If you think opps may misread an AI as semi bluff that's a good play too. If you get called by either small stack, you have to set him in on the turn. the other guy is tougher... which is why I'm tempted by the AI play.

Hand 2 it's your call, if you think the BB next hand is more likely to fold, fold, if not I'm fine with moving here. Next hand I'd go with any two.

hand # 1: im betting aroun 3/4ths of the pot here on the flop and im pushing on the turn, u cant make that small bet when theres a flush draw out there unless you know that if u check someone will bet and thn u can juist check raise and make a big bet..you need to have reads on this players...for example, if dropdeadfred always bets when checked to then check it and hell bet given u a chance to make a big raise

hand #2: not really muych u can do i may also push here because u have 2 more opportunities to get a quality hand, i dont think its a bad move since you have to make something happen
