He seemed like a good player, as he'd built a nice stack. My reads were that he was quite tight, not so aggressive. Do you call the river?

| The random min bet on the turn worries me here, he could have easily spiked a set with 55. Since you have made a read that he is a tad passive, and he has come to life on the turn and consequently overbet the river, you have to think you are beat, so I fold here and respect his raising. |

| He check-raised the turn. A better question in my mind is why check the river? You have a pretty good hand, after a weird line that begs him to think you might be bluffing... throw out a blocking/value bet of $5 or so and hopefully he'll just call you, and you get a showdown at a modest price with the kind of hand that you really would like to show down cheap. |
