Oh man. That is terrible. Seeing the same hand as you bluff you out is one of the worst frustrations there is.
I had a hand like this last night in my home game: dealt AJ, I called a standard raise from my friend Kevin (classic TAgg). I was OOP, but this was only a 4-handed game so I felt like my hand might be best. On a flop of QTx I led out with a min bet. Kevin reached for his chips to raise, then glanced at me and said "You're going to come over the top of me if I raise you, aren't you?" And proceeded to fold his hand face up: AJ. I flipped mine over and laughed at him. The funny thing was, his read was correct, in a way: I *was* going to re-raise if he raised me. It was a planned move based on the fact that I didn't think the board had hit him. |
