I need to watch out for Da GOAT, we've been exchanging HHs so he knows that I will push a wide range from the button, I need to be a bit more selective what I push here. Glad I'm not to his left though, he shoves a very wide range. |

preflop. I suppose I've been too used to the low buyin donks who will raise

I've hit my set on the flop. I tend to lead my strong hands so I just bet out about half the pot.
With RandomHero83 displaying a tight nature, the range I put him on pre-flop is AJ+ and 99+. With his raise on the flop, I can probably narrow that range down to AA, KK, QQ (less likely due to the Q on the flop) and AQ. There is a small possibility of a semi-bluff such as AK or AJ but this is unlikely as I have shown strength leading into this pot and with players active behind.
Normally I would push all-in over this raise, however what with facing tighter and better players than I encounter at my usual limits, I elect to just call and get all my chips in on the turn.
The turn is a bad card for me (I remember saying "yuck" out loud  ) now KK beats me and AJ (though this is very unlikely). I have so much money committed to the pot that I simply believe I can't let this go and shove. Oh well nh gg  . |

decided to reraise as didnt think he had trips and when he flat called I was
certain he didnt as I thought he would have reraised then. K on turn was
superb
Easy call when he went all in. knew he didnt have A-J for straight. was
surprised to see trips when he flipped.
With having doubled up I was hoping to sit back for a bit and see how others
